I am BEYOND excited to announce my FIRST-EVER book club pick finally. Usually, I do a huge book stack of reads I recommend for the entire month. BUT I got so many messages and requests to pick one book because let’s face it, we are all busy and cannot always get to 5-10 books each month.
The Newcomer by Mary Kay Andrews Review is here, and let me say that this book is one of my all-time favorite Andrews novels, and that is saying a lot. For those readers that are not aware, I have an entire shelf dedicated to Andrews novels…I blame it on Hello, Summer.

The Evil Queen by Gena Showalter is a great book. The fairy tale retelling is spot on and so original. I have read so many fairy tale retellings, and none of them have compared to The Evil Queen.
