I got accepted into Harvard! It’s a new chapter and one I have been pursuing since this past summer. After joining the bookstagram community a few years ago, I really found what I love—reading.

Skin of the Sea by Natasha Brown feature is here! I must say, who doesn’t love a book filled with magical mermaids? When I first saw this book, the cover grabbed my attention. It is GORGEOUS and something different for the YA fantasy market. The protagonist Simi is a servant to the gods known as Mami Wata—aka a mermaid. She swims the waters and collects the souls of those who lose their lives in the waters, blessing them on their way back home.

Kingdom Keepers Inheritance by Ridley Pearson is today’s book to read. First, I want to thank Disney books for sending me an advanced copy. This book is set to release on March 8th, 2022, and so many of you have been buzzing about it.
The Judge’s List is another homerun by Grisham! The writing, the mystery, the intrigue—it was all spot on. I could not put this book down or read it fast enough. It may just be one of my favorite Grisham novels to date!
I am a fan of Karen White’s writing because it always lures me in. I admit reading this book made me question ever residing in an old house. But I loved how realistic everything was in White’s writing of this book.
The Facility by M.S. Tummolo is today’s feature read. I’m excited to share more about this book with all my readers. First, this book is a sci-fi adventure read set in the future. It’s unlike any other books I’ve read recently and one that I found myself thinking about even after I put it down for the day. Now, I don’t want to give any spoilers away, so I won’t be giving any specific details (you’ll have to get your copy to find out more), BUT I will provide you with an overview!
In Every Generation by Kendare Blake is a new book I just got from Disney Books. It’s the first book I received from Disney Books, AND it’s an early advanced reader copy! How awesome is that? Needless to say, I dove into this book headfirst and did not put it down until I finished. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this YA fantasy read too!
