Angelella Editorial NaNoWriMo is finally here!
Angelella Editorial is, at its core, a storytelling company. If you have a novel you want to improve upon, an idea you want to turn into a novel, or part of a novel you want to finish, we can help you level up.
A lot of people think editing is all about grammar and punctuation. This is one type of edit—a copyedit—and we do provide this service. But our specialty is digging into the deeper elements of storytelling, such as character development, plot structure and execution, tension, conflict, worldbuilding, and voice. Author E.L. Doctorow once wrote, “Writing is like driving at night in the fog. You can only see as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.” Our editors are here to travel ahead of you, shining flashlights and putting up street lamps along your path as you travel.
Owner and editor Kate Angelella is a former editor at Simon & Schuster, where she acquired and edited books by award-winning and bestselling authors. Each one of the editors on our team was hand-selected by Kate based on their editorial and writing acumen. Our is not just a business; it’s a family. Our editors are constantly in communication and you can regularly find us dissecting plot and character arc together on our company Slack channel. We are a bunch of nerds who love what we do and are excited to help share that passion with you and your story! Our clients have gone on to: sign with the agents of their dreams, sell books at auction, sign with managers at major Hollywood talent agencies, and author bestselling and award-winning books.
This month, Angelella Editorial is running a promotion for writers during Preptober and NaNoWriMo where you can join our private Slack channel and receive direct, one-on-one weekday access to our editors for brainstorming, Q&As, and weekly zoom craft discussions.
$15 gets you access to all of this for two months, and participation in NaNoWriMo is not required—you are welcome to join whether you’re revising a novel, starting a new one, or in the middle of your project. Check out the details HERE!
You can find out more on Angelella Editorial on their: website, Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook.
