Say Goodbye and Goodnight by David Ruggerio is out now. In 1977 Brooklyn, this novel takes off centering around Anthony Marino. He’s someone who is striving to become a fighter. Beneath his hard exterior, his heart belongs to Gia. Their love story is compelling and a once in a lifetime thing. But not everything is easy.
There are family situations interwoven throughout that leave Anthony fighting for more than what he faces with an opponent. It’s a historical novel with twists and turns that will leave you wanting to keep reading to get to the end.
Overall, I loved the concept of this story. It was like a Shakespearean play with the love story and all the struggles the characters faced. I loved the character of Gina. I also loved the character of Anthony and what he goes through during the plot of this novel. It was an unexpected, exciting romance novel.
