First Book Mail of Package 2022 is here, and I am so excited. Is there such a thing as too many books? If you’re a reader, the answer is simple…NO! I love shopping for books. I love going to the bookstore and browsing (even if I don’t buy anything). There is something about picking up a book and reading the back cover—discovering new stories that have been put out into the world.
I went a shopping splurge when Barnes and Noble had their $9.99 because I could not help it! I had to grab the books that have been on my TBR for so long.
The first book I got was Skin of the Sea by Natasha Bowen! It’s known as a Black mermaid fantasy that I cannot wait to read! I love mermaids, and I love history, AND I love fantasy. This book has all three!
The second book I got was Beasts of Prey by Ayana Gray. I have seen this book everywhere, and every time I went to grab a copy at my local bookstore, it was sold out. Finally, I got it on sale at Barnes and Noble! I love this cover and have heard so many good things about it!
The final book I got was Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi! I have always loved this cover and always saw great reviews on bookstagram. So I finally grabbed a copy to dive in and decide for myself if I am a fan of this series. Stay tuned for my thoughts!
