My march tbr reading picks are here. Every month, I choose a collection of books from various genres to read, as many of you are aware. They can be YA fantasy, steamy romance, historical fiction, memoir, and even children’s books. It all depends on what catches my eye when I am book shopping. It can be the cover or summary. Honestly, it just depends on what interests me.
I always get asked why didn’t you pick this book? It is on the NYT bestsellers list. OR this book has excellent reviews. Why didn’t you choose it? Honestly, my book picks are not based on other reviews or the bestseller list. They are based on books, no matter what year they are published catch my eye.
I try to remain unbiased in searching for which books to pick.
To me, book shopping for my TBR pile is like shopping for clothes or shopping for jewelry. It is personal and something only I can decide. I’m not too fond of anyone book shopping for me because I need to be there to see and feel the books. There is something about being present for book shopping. Do you agree? How do you book shop? Do you like someone book shopping for you?
For my March TBR reading picks, I decided to change things up.
I picked only FOUR books that I will be reading.
The first is The Vineyard at Painted Moon by Susan Mallery. I love Susan Mallery’s writing, and I cannot wait to step into the world of Mackenzie Dienes’s world.
Next is, Fable by Adrienne Young. Okay, this book I have wanted to read for a month or so. The cover is great, and I have never read a book by Young. I also am a sucker for a good YA novel!
A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas is a YA fantasy book I am both excited and hesitant about. I have never read a Sarah J. Maas book. I know. I know. But I just have never been able to get through them! They are so long, and this one is no exception. It is over 700 pages! OMG! But I decided to give it another try. I loved the summary. We shall see what I think of Maas’s writing because I am not sure yet.
Concluding March’s TBR picks is The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah. Again, I have not read a book by this author. I have no idea why but I cannot wait to dive into this book!
Which book on my March TBR are you most excited for me to review?
