October means Harry Potter

October 1, 2019

For me, every October 1st I reread Harry Potter. Maybe it’s because of Halloween or its the start of fall meaning I’ll be indoors more, but October, to me, feels like Harry Potter’s month!
It is the reason I decided to start by rereading the books from the beginning starting with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

I even went to Dunkin’ Donuts and got a Halloween donut to put me in the mood! I have to say the first two books are my favorite. I love being introduced to the Muggle world then find Harry at Hogwarts. I admit though Harry isn’t my favorite character.

October 1st marks me rereading Harry Potter!

Ron Weasley is by far my favorite. I love his character in the novels as well as in the movies. Rupert Grint did an amazing job playing Ron.
Who’s your favorite Harry Potter character? Do you have a favorite in the novels and another in the movies?

Besides staying in and reading the books, I really want to go to Universal Orlando and see Hogwarts too! I saw photos online and would love to go there. I want a true Potter experience!!

Overall, I have to say Harry Potter is definitely a classic story I recommend reading. You cannot go wrong with this selection whether you are just beginning to read or have read thousands of books. There is something about Harry Potter that makes it a book for any age group. I love too how J.K. Rowlings made the books mature with the characters. Not many authors do that in such an elegant way, so props to her!

Now if you’ll excuse me I am going to go read! Write in and tell me all your Harry Potter obessions and if you’ve been to Potter World in Universal Orlando!
