Owlcrate August Box Review

August 23, 2019

This was my first-time ordering an Owlcrate box, and honestly I didn’t know what to expect. Would I just get a book? Would the accessories really compliment the story? Would the items really be ones I could use?
These were all the questions flying through my head as I sprung and spent the $29.99. I have to say it was the best thing I EVER did as I was very surprised…in a good way.

August Owlcrate Box

The box went above and beyond my expectations! I got a signed copy of House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig!! To go with the theme of the book of ‘ocean’ there was a Riddle’s Tea Shoppe Sea Witch decaf early grey & hazelnut tea. There was an awesome wooden tassel bookmark with the quote ‘The Sea Watches Over Me. She protects her own.’ A pencil or pen tin holder, an Owlcrate pin with their monthly enamel to go with the books theme of the ocean, The Little Mermaid bath salt, and my favorite a candle lantern for those ‘dark and stormy nights.’ Plus, there was a pamphlet telling us about the reader and vender of the book, along with a personalized message from the author, and Owlcrate!

Owlcrate is my new favorite monthly subscription box to get. I was so impressed that I knew as soon as I opened it I had to share it with you. From the box to the accessories to the packaging, this is something you want to start getting every month. Write in if you have the August Owlcrate box and tell me your thoughts. Which item was your favorite?! See more on my INSTA!
xoxo Carly-Rae
