It’s fall and that means it’s time for new trends! I decided to pair one of my favorite solid dresses with a fun printed cardigan for those cool fall mornings. The bright solid magenta dress gave the cardigan a ‘pop’ of color for fall. Because as you know I love bright colors even for fall!
The printed cardigan with it’s grey tones gave it a fun fall twist with it’s color hues for fall. It is still warm out so I decided to pair it with my rose gold sandals I got from DSW!

So I decided to get my nails done four weeks after my ear surgery. My sisters were getting their acrylic nails, but I decided since I usually take my acrylic nails off within a week that I didn’t want to go through that hassle. Especially since it was so close to my surgery.
I decided to get gel nails. The last time I got them done (not that the same nail salon) it burned so bad that by the time I drove home I had to remove the gel polish off my nails. They did ten coats of glitter polish and it was so thick and hurt so bad.
I decided to go for it this at this new salon and I was surprised to find out that it didn’t hurt at all! I got the nail designs on the gel and it’s so shiny that everyone keeps asking if it is really my nails!
But yes they are my real nails just with gel polish over them. I have to say these are my new favorite nail designs I’ve ever had. They haven’t chipped at all and they feel natural so I can still do everything I always do! After getting my gel nails done (the right way) I have decided that I love the gel nails!
What do you think of my fall gel nails?!
It was Original Piece’s Think Pink Event at their Flagship location this past weekend in Florida. I was so excited to have the chance to go and of course I wore an all pink dress I got from them last year! I decided to pair it with the denim jacket I have had for years and it gave it a casual twist.
I showed my support in honor of someone special to me who is a survivor of breast cancer. I wore pink in honor of her and was so excited to attend such an amazing event.
I had the chance to paint a pink ribbon pumpkin to show my support too! It’s actually a lot harder to paint a pumpkin than you might think! I had to spray paint it first then decorate it.

So today I decided to try the Elsa braid! I was going out and I always wear my hair the same way: half-up half-down or in a ponytail. So I decided to change up my look.
The Elsa braid I have to say I LOVE it. It gave a fun twist to my fall look and I loved it! I watched a Youtube tutorial on how to do the Elsa braid and mixed that in with a French braid. Once I did that, it was easy to finish! I wore it on the side just like Elsa!
Next fall outfit I can’t wait to do the Elsa inspired braid again.
