15+ Best Highlighters of 2023 I always recommend wearing

I have gotten so many requests to share some new makeup articles, so today, I’m sharing the 15+ Best Highlighters of 2023 I always recommend wearing!

It can be tricky to find the right highlighter for your skin. Now, there are liquid highlighters, powder highlighters, and even stick highlighters. I’ve tried them all, and I will admit it’s tricky. Some are super sticky, while others just don’t stay on and fade.

Below are some of the best highlighters I’ve tried. I will say for summer. I tend to do more of the bronze highlighters, while in other months, I like to spruce up my look with a colored highlighter. How about you?

1. Iced Out Highlighter

This Iced Out Highlighter is one of my favorites. I tend to use this one in the winter months. It’s easy to pack for when I’m on the go too. I love how a little of this goes a long way!

2. Glint Dewy Moon Natural Glow Highlighter Stick

Dewy Moon is the color I love in this stick highlighter; however it does come in three other shades that look great on especially for summertime. I usually wear this one when I go to the beach and just over my tinted sunscreen. It adds an extra glow I really like!

3. Stila Heaven Hue Highlighter

This is a highlighter/bronzer I really like for summertime! I admittedly use this to contour my face sometimes as well when I want a super tanned, dewy look for the beach. It radiants on my skin, and it is smooth to put on. A definite fav of mine!

4. Stick Highlighter- Anastasia Beverly Hills

This highlighter stick I wish I would have owned this sooner. I also how it’s two-sided and offers a brush to really blend in the highlighter. It comes in a variety of shades that are unique and can be worn with various skin tones. It’s why I included this one is my 15+ Best Highlighters of 2023!

5. MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish Highlighter

I do love a good MAC product. This product is matte on my skin and not too visible. It gives me a more subtle look when I’m going into a meeting. I use this when I’m traveling for work or for if I want just a touch of glimmer on my cheeks for class.

6. COVER FX Custom Enhancer Drops Liquid Highlighter

This product was my first true liquid highlighter. I really like how it looks when I put it on and how it accents my checks exactly where I apply it. I tend to wear this one when I go on a date night. It also comes in a variety of colors so you can always get a few shades and wear this one day or night!

7. Benefit Cosmetics Watt’s Up!

This cream-based highlighter is great for illuminating a simple makeup look. When I go for a more natural makeup look, I usually pick this highlighter to wear. I use my finger to blend it out and only apply a thin layer. I can never go wrong with Benefit (so far).

8. Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Positive Light Silky

I admit at first, I was hesitant about trying Selena Gomez’s beauty. I adore her, so I took the plunge and got a few pieces. I’m so glad I got this highlighter. Exhilarate is the shade that’s my current favorite!

9. Diamond Highlighter- Walmart

I will say that sometimes Walmart highlighters can look too greasy on my skin. They also don’t stand out, or they are too slick and tend to melt on my skin. However, this Diamond highlighter works for me because I just apply a simple sheen of it on the tops of my cheeks. I got this while on vacation, and I keep it in my beach bag now!

10. Benefit Cosmetics- Powder Highlighter

This may just be my favorite highlighter! It is from Benefit, and I love the shade cookie! It offers the perfect shimmer to my looks. I always get many compliments when I wear this one, which is always a huge plus! It’s why I included this one in my 15+ Best Highlighters of 2023!

11. YSL- Women’s NU Halo Tint Highlighter

I will say a little of this goes a long, long way, but it’s definitely worth it. Again, I tend to use this one when I have less makeup on, as it gives me more of a natural shimmer. It’s another great pick on the best highlighters of 2023 because it’s versatile.

12. Contour and Highlighter Stick- Anastasia Beverly Hills

The banana stick shade looks super natural on my face, but it also allows you to build on it. It comes in a variety of shades so you can use this to contour your face or add shimmer to your look!

13. LYS Beauty Aim High Pressed Highlighter Powder

I love the shade Brave. It is super shimmery and dresses up my makeup look! I love wearing this for a dinner night out with friends. I always get so many compliments!

14. MILK Makeup Mini Highlighter Stick 

Milk Makeup Highlighter was the second highlighter I ever wore. It is cream based, and if you apply too much, it can get super sticky. I recommend using a little, and it will go a long way.

15. Charlotte Tilbury Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter

I can never go wrong with a great Tilbury highlighter, and this one is no exception. I love how this one shimmers in the light and how it stands out. I always use this one when I want a bold, beautiful makeup look! This is hands down of my favorites on my 15+ Best Highlighters of 2023.

16. L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer Lotion

This is such an affordable highlighter that you can wear it day or night. When I put my makeup on early in the morning, I go for this highlighter to get me ready for the day! It’s another great pick on my 15+ Best Highlighters of 2023.
